Course aim
To support staff with a management responsibility to develop their leadership and management skills and ensure their setting achieves and maintains a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' inspection outcome.

Cost: Out of County £175 Settings: £135

Pre-course Information
Refreshments will be available throughout the training but lunch is not included in the course fee. Please bring your own lunch.

By the end of the training participants will be able to:

  • Accurately assess their own provision and identify key actions for improvement with reference to the current Early Years Inspection Handbook

  • Provide effective support and supervision for their staff team and competently monitor daily provision and practice

  • Accurately assess children's progress, including tracking of groups and effective use of the Early Years Pupil Premium

  • Provide up-to-date guidance to staff in the areas of safeguarding (including Prevent and British Values); key person; quality interactions; partnership with parents; engaging learning environments; healthy living and behaviour management.
