By the end of the training participants will be able to:
Accurately use the Ofsted Early Years Handbook to make judgements about the quality of their own and others provision.
Identify areas where the practice in their settings is not yet outstanding and develop a SMART action plan to raise the quality of provision.
Effectively support practitioners in their own settings to develop and consistently demonstrate exceptional and inspirational practice and provision.
N.B. This course will include a practical morning on Day 2 when participants will be given the opportunity to visit one or two outstanding settings. As part of the course cost, participants will also be provided with a course folder and course notes as well as a teaching book linked to outstanding practice and provision.
