To provide information and skills to enable practitioners to effectively support children with speech, language and communication needs.

Target Group - all Early Years practitioners
Pre-course Information
This training is fully funded by Oxfordshire Early Years. However, if you book a place but do not attend the sessions, and have not cancelled your place via Oxfordshire CPD Online within 48 hours of the start of the training, you will be charged £10.
This session will take place interactively with participants using Microsoft Teams. A meeting request will be emailed to participants beforehand

By the end of the training participants will:

  • have increased their understanding of typical language development

  • be able to identify possible reasons why a child might be finding learning and communication difficult

  • be able to use a range of skills and strategies to support young children with speech, language and communication difficulties in their everyday setting
