To introduce practitioners to the WellComm Toolkit

Target Group: Early Years practitioners that have access to a WellComm pack and work with children aged up to 6 years
Pre-course Information
Trainers include a lead early years advisory teacher and a lead speech and language therapist at each session.

the training will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. joining instructions will be sent nearer the date of the training.
Objectives

This introductory training will help you to:



  • Increase your confidence to access and navigate the WllComm toolkit

  • Use the screening tool to identify and understand young children's speech, language and communication difficulties.

  • Understand how to use the Big Book of ideas to support young children with speech, language and communication  difficulties
