Course aim
To support staff with management responsibility to develop their leadership and management skills and ensure their setting achieves and maintains a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' inspection outcome.

Cost: £90. This comprehensive course is delivered over nine 1.5 hour sessions

Objectives

By the end of the training participants will be able to:



  • Accurately assess their own provision and identify key actions for improvement with reference to the current Early Years Inspection Handbook

  • Provide effective support and supervision for their staff team and competently monitor daily provision and practice

  • Accurately assess children's progress, including tracking of groups and effective use of Early Years Pupil Premium

  • Provide up-to-date guidance to staff in the areas of safeguarding (including Prevent and British Values); key person; quality interactions; partnership with parents; engaging learning environments; healthy living and behaviour management.
