To build knowledge and understanding of the early years curriculum and how to implement this in the setting to enhance the learning needs of children
Pre-course Information
This is a fully funded, face to face course for Oxfordshire childminders. However, if you do not attend and have not cancelled your place beforehand, there will be a non-attendance charge of £15.
Objectives
By the end of the training participants will be able to:
• Have an understanding of what a curriculum is
• Identify recent changes to the seven areas of learning
• Recognise the importance of communication and language
• Be confident with the 3 I’s – Intent, Implementation, Impact
• Implement their own ambitious and effective early years curriculum to meet children’s needs
