To provide an understanding of self-regulation for learning in the Early Years
Pre-course Information
This course is for all Early Years practitioners wishing to gain a greater understanding of self-regulation. The course is relevant for practitioners from pre-schools, day nurseries, nursery schools, and reception and nursery classes in schools.

By the end of the training participants will be able to:

  • Describe and recognise self-regulatory skills

  • Create a range of strategies to support young children to develop their ability to self-regulate
