Course aim
To provide settings with the knowledge and confidence to enter data for the early years. To use the tools to interpret the information to highlight strengths and areas for development within the setting. Content of the course will be related to the changes of the Ofsted framework.

Target group: Managers of settings or schools and practitioners involved in data entry and analysing trends in the early years.

Pre-course Information
Delegates should bring along a laptop and a copy of their EYTT if they have one.

By the end of the training participants will be able to:

  • Enter data into the EYTT

  • Use the tools available to identify key strengths and areas of focus

  • Produce summary and individual reports

  • Interpret the data to produce actions and next steps

  • Have an understanding of the new Ofsted Framework and how this relates to data
