Course aim
For all practitioners working with babies and toddlers from 0-2 years, to gain an understanding of the sequence of developmental pathways (milestones) and how learning impacts on this development

Target group - All early years practitioners including those working in preschools and day nurseries, childminders and teachers.
Pre-course Information
This training will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. The meeting link will be sent out before the event.

Please bring along a copy of the non-statutory curriculum that your setting intends to use from September 2021 (e.g. Development Matters 2020; Birth to Five Matters)
Objectives

By the end of the training participants will be able to:


• Understand the importance of child development
• Recognise the developmental sequences of babies and toddlers
• Feel confident when making assessments of children’s developmental progress
• Recognise delay in developmental sequences of babies and toddlers
• Feel confident to plan and provide appropriate experiences to support their development.
