Objectives
By the end of this training participants will be able to:


  • Be aware of key legislation e.g. SEND code of Practice and Equalities Act.

  • Identify children with Special Educational Needs and how to provide a graduated response

  • Work in a way that demonstrates the importance of partnership with parents

  • Use the document 'SEN Support in Oxfordshire settings'

  • Know about Education Health Care Plans and other relevant paperwork
