Me, You, The Living World - Supporting children in the face of climate and ecological crises

This course, delivered by Jo McAndrews with Annie Davy, is for primary school staff and early years colleagues who are concerned about how best to support the children they work with in the face of the current ecological crisis.

No matter where we look now - from David Attenborough to everyday news, children are exposed constantly to discussion of this in the media.  Even very young children are very sensitive to conversations about safety and the future. Flo's are delighted to be able to put on this unique course with Jo McAndrews who is a child psychologist with developed tools and resources to enable practitioners to have conversations about this topic with each other, with parents and with children in an appropriate way.  She brings perspectives from neuroscience and child psychology to the subject and and education perspective enabling practitioners to resource themselves to be positive in their work with children - particularly when working outside with nature as a resource for wellbeing and learning.
